Update #3 - The final post

I take my hat off to those of you who tough out the full 24 hours of the readathon, I really do. It's still my ambition to participate from beginning to end at least once, but I haven't yet been able to do so. This year, because of work, family etc I managed to participate from hour #1 to hour #15.
So, here's my final update, based on my participation in that time :)

Which hour was most daunting for you?

Probably hour 14. I'd been up for almost 24 hours at that point already, so I was getting pretty tired. But, I made it through.

Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year?

Well, my main read this year was Game of Thrones, which, although it is a great book, is definitely not for everyone. And I certainly wouldn't recommend starting it during the readathon, unless you either read super super fast, or you don't mind spending all your time on one book (and perhaps still not having finished it by the end). As far as books go, it's a veritable brick. But it's an extraordinary well written and engaging brick.

Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?

No, not really. I thought everything was very well executed this year, and I'm impressed beyond words by everyone who had anything to do with that, from the cheerleaders to the organizers. I hope you all keep up the good work, and I promise to read with you again in April :)
What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?

Everything. But if I have to pick something, the cheerleaders did an awesome job (#TeamTiger for the win!)

Uhm, none of the above. They were all enjoyable, but Checkout... is the one I'm least likely to read again.
How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?

Very. My role would depend on what kind of time I'm able to devote. I've only participated as a reader so far, but I'd like to be a cheerleader at least once.
